KL Sunbears vs Setiawangsa Rangers FC: Mission to seek victory.

KL Sunbears want to maintain a comfortable position in first place in group A. Meanwhile, the Setiawangsa Rangers are aiming for top place in Group A for the final group match before the semi-finals.  Both teams have put in a lot of attempt to enhance their strength in the final match of group A.

In the early minutes of the match, the match was evenly balanced, with both teams displaying good attacking and defensive discipline. Several attempts were made but were unsuccessful in producing a goal. The Setiawangsa Rangers defence was very easy to penetrate by the KL Sunbears until the final minute of the first half, but they were glad since the goalkeeper was able to prevent the goal from being scored.  Starting the second half, the KL Sunbears team was seen attacking more than the Setiawangsa team which had to defend a lot. Setiawangsa Rangers player got injured in the 41’minute and had to be pulled from the game for treatment. This situation has resulted in them having to play with 10 players for a while. The KL Sunbears players did not miss this opportunity and continued to strive for a goal. In 44’ minutes, Keroline Raymond from KL Sunbears has scored the first goal of the game. The players of the Setiawangsa Rangers continue to search for goals for their team, but it is tough to break through the opposing defense. 

In the end of the match, KL Sunbears 1, Setiawangsa Rangers 0. KL Sunbears now in the first place of group A with 10 points, while, Setiawangsa rangers in second place with 4 points. Kl Sunbears and Setiawangsa Rangers managed to qualify for the semi -finals to meet the team from group B.
